COP 26: France and fossil fuels.

France has joined the coalition of countries pledging to put an end by the end of 2022 to foreign financing of fossil energy projects without carbon capture techniques, the Minister for the Ecological Transition announced on Friday. .

COP 26: France will no longer invest in fossil fuels abroad at the end of 2022.

France joins a coalition of around thirty countries and development banks (United States, Canada, etc.) and undertakes to stop its investments in oil, gas and coal abroad from the end of 2022.
