Read moreThe European Commission proposed the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) in March 2022, as a key element of delivering the Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP) of the Green Deal the EU. The regulation would establish a framework for ecodesign requirements, including performance requirements such as, but not limited to, durability, reuse, repairability, recyclability, scalability and environmental impact of a product, for products sold in the EU.
